A couple of weeks ago we sent a few of our Team members out to Las Vegas for HD Expo at the Mandalay Bay. If you haven’t heard about it, HD Expo is where we (and thousands of other designers) go to find new sources and see the newest products in the hospitality industry. There is a lot of everything at this show, and we mean everything… furniture, wallcovering, flooring, lighting, outdoor furniture, restroom fixtures and even charging outlets!
We love these pendant lights from Hammerton Lighting!. Grouping different sizes, colors and shapes of glass pendants is a great way to create impact in lobby or entry spaces.
We were so excited to see our name listed as the NEWH TOP ID winner for Orange County! We had to have Summer (our Senior Designer) stop and pose with the sign because we are so proud of our Team for receiving this award two years in a row!
We love a good looking chair so when we are at HD Expo, we are always on the hunt for our favorites! Beautiful or unique looking chairs are important to us because even if a client has a small budget, highlighting at least one cool/insta-worthy chair can make a design a heck of a difference! These two chairs above are from Sika Design.
We are suckers for a pretty cane back and look at how nice this lounge chair is by Summer Classics! We can just picture our clients sipping a mint julep while relaxing in this chair… and bonus points because it’s made for the outdoors!
One of our favorite vendor stops at HD Expo is at Kettal. They always have the cutest chairs to swoon over! How cute is this one with the rolled back and strapping detail? …LOVE!
Give us all the wallcovering!! it’s always fun visiting our friend, Morgan from Phillip Jeffries, not just because we like her but because their wallcovering is so pretty!
One of the perks of having HD Expo in Vegas is all the amazing restaurants and entertainment to choose from at night! Our dear friend, Stephanie from Lake Forest Fixtures and Nathan from Trowbridge took us out on the town to the new Vanderpump restaurant and the cocktails were delicious! We followed up our dinner with a visit to the Mob Museum and learned a little bit about mobsters and found ourselves getting a mug shot (all in good fun, of course). Our visit was a 48 hour whirlwind but always so worth it and so fun! We are looking forward to next year already!
